The TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is the 19th edition of the world’s most popular T20 cricket league. Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), who won their maiden IPL title in 2025 by defeating Punjab Kings in a thrilling final, will look to retain the trophy this season.
The tournament will feature a total of 74 matches, including 70 league stage matches and 4 playoff matches (Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2, and the Final). All 10 teams will compete fiercely from March 28 to May 31, 2026. Each team will play 14 league matches (7 home and 7 away) in a double round-robin format.
The league stage will be hosted across 13 different venues (stadiums) spread across India, including iconic grounds like M.
